The Anatomy of a Painting

"I find every painting is a different creative experience that comes with its own path to completion. Some paintings flow fast and very organically, and others take more time and precision. I usually begin with a rough sketch on the canvas, as you see below, and work from background to foreground, making little tweaks as I go.

Although every painting is unique, the uniting aspect of my creative expression is intuition.
